Quinta de San Pedro Alejandrino, a place enriched by history and art

Is an ancient estate located in the city of Santa Marta, in northern Colombia. It occupies the house and some land of a 17th century hacienda dedicated to the production of rum honey and panela.

It was founded in Santa Marta on february 2, 1608 by the canon of the Catedral de Santa Marta Francisco de Godoy and courtesy with the name of La Florida de San Pedro Alejandrino. It bears his name in memory of the Spanish martyr Pedro de Godoy.

Quinta de San Pedro Alejandrino is place with rich fauna, a paradisiacal beauty in its vegetation in addition to a beautiful and unique colonial architectural style.

In the main house you will find old buildings painted yellow that represent the colonial style and together with them other modern buildings painted white, which will represent the republican style.

You can visit outstanding places such as the square of flags or the altar of homeland.
